For the first time the Illuminations Factory on Rigby Road was used to host community workshops when a group of twelve young people were invited to work with French Artists, Laurent Louyer, founder of the Light Art Company Creatmosphere, and Karen Janody, to create a Light Installation for display in the window of the Poundland Store on Church Street.
Using materials kindly sponsored by Poundland, the group were asked to create a window display by using
everyday objects and light in an arts context.
