“As a Fine Artist, the practical and theoretical background to my work crosses various boundaries and is relative to numerous disciplines, such as painting, printmaking, sculpture and installation. My previous work has involved
investigations into the ‘Female Space of Architecture’, and pertains very
much to the Female within History & Culture, also referring to aspects of
‘Private & Public’ space. The metaphorical treatment of the content enhances
the symbolic qualities of the work and the choice of media relies on the concept.
I am a member of ‘Blott Artists Studios’ and ‘The Sculptors Society of Ireland’. (A.Carragher)
